Elevating Clamp For One Way Wrap

An elevating clamp can provide savings on time and stretch film. This application allows a stable load to be wrapped (one-way only for dust protection) by having the carriage apply a single layer of film from bottom to top of the load. During the wrap the clamp follows the carriage and then moves into position to hold the film while the cut & wipe arm cuts and secures it to the load. As the load moves away from the wrapping zone, the carriage and clamp will return to their home position, ready for the next load.
