Block and Brick Industry Solution

Challenge:

Provide water protection for products stored in an outside environment.

Solution:

Machine is equipped with an in-cycle top sheet dispenser. Load is wrapped once with a single layer of film. Once the carriage reaches the top of the load and applies one top wrap, it (the carriage) goes down 1½” to allow plastic top sheet placement. The fact that the carriage goes down 1½” allows the top sheet corners to fold down, allowing total coverage of the top sheet. Upon completion of the top sheet sequence, a second layer of film is applied to protect the product from water. Water protection is made possible by the fact that the plastic top sheet is between two layers of film.
