Challenge:

The customer wanted to wrap a wide variety of sofas and chairs varying in length, color, and weight. Using their special self-made buggy to support each sofa and bring each sofa from location to location. They also needed to wrap the sofas and chairs without lifting them on and off the buggy, while keeping the buggy secured to the sofa or chair the entire time.

Solution:

A SMART low profile extended base with a loading ramp on both sides of the base with a special lift. The unit was designed to allow the customer to wheel their buggy with sofa intact and up one ramp onto the machine. The special lift plates lifts the buggy and sofa together, steadying the sofa and securing the buggy for a safe wrap. Once wrapped, the lift descends allowing the operator to roll the buggy off the machine via the opposite ramp. This unit was specially designed to meet this specific customer's needs.
