Challenge:

The customer's product was hand tools in boxes. Loads size was std 48 x 40 and about 75” high. Customer required a production of 50 lph. Loads also needed to be wrapped down to the pallet.

 

Solution:

A customized WCRT-200 featuring a list of options, including:

  • 50 fpm conveyor speed
  • 30” carriage
  • Pop-up unit
  • 5 extra 5' powered roller conveyor section

Challenge:

The client needed to wrap individual tool boxes from an existing production line that had a wide variety of load sizes and a feed rate of up to 100 LPH. Our job was to provide an end-of-line wrapper with a palletizing area directly on the infeed conveyor to bundle the individually wrapped boxes on a standard pallet.

 

Solution:

Two WCRT-175 machines configured in parallel with a load separation system, plus an end-of-line wrapper with a palletizing area equipped with the following features:

  • 1000 # centering device
  • 2 x index table
  • 34” BFR conveyor
  • Dual stage pop-up
  • Top platen
  • End-of-line wrapper @ 9” pass height
  • Small clamp (SMLPA-style) that did not require pit mounting with low pass height
  • Special fencing design
